Successful EMR Implementation

1. Collaboration: Together with you we work as a team.  We are both an advisor and team member.
2. Planning:  Assign a project leader and develop realistic goals and objectives.  Outline costs, patient flow, resources. We work closely with you to update the plan frequently to reflect progress and any projected changes.
3. Develop an accurate timeline: Internal assessments help us to consider training requirements, take into account learning curves, etc.  All tasks are documented and given expected completion dates.  We keep an open line of communication throughout the project progress to ensure the implementation is kept on track.
4. Analyze workflow: We take time to closely observe paper trails, determine where scanners are needed, and how to communicate internally using the EMR.  We ensure that diagnostic reports, scanned documents, faxes, and charts, flow throughout office seamlessly.
